i definitely like that analogy about the little child and the toy....having a little brother who got his share of "some assembly required" toys over the years, it is so true at how important the directions (a.k.a. the "master plans") are...because my brother always refused to read the directions, everything but the intended toy takes shape!

Some peoples take on life is that "stuff happens", knowing that what I'm living IS the Good and perfect will of my Heavenly Father for my life has convinced me otherwise. Wheather What your experiencing is a breakdown, or a breakthrough depends on who you acknowledge as being in control, and wheather you believe that they love you or not.

thru the internet, older people like me who beyond our church life are'nt too "out there" continually have doors opened for us to share the gospel. There's an abundant harvest there waiting for someone to share the "good news" with them!

I know nothing about blogs, but was looking for a way to tell you about the Great Healing Outpouring taking place every night at 7 pm in Lakeland, Fl,, where healings are happening that were not seen in the US before! 13 peaple raised from the dead---MS--blind see---deaf hear---lame walk---brain tumors and other types of tumors healed---cancer healed, etc. It is very Bibical, but different. Todd Bentley is covered with tattoos and looks like a biker!
I read about you and wanted you to know about this Merciful Outpouring to heal and to gather in the multitudes for such a time as this. About 28 nations have come to receive this anointing and take it to the nations. It is supposed to go all over the USA and the rest of the world for the great harvest. It is on GOD TV with Direct TV or online at"ignited church.com". God TV was created for these times as it reaches the world. Praise God! I, myself, have been healed of lung cancer.

Many people are coming from great distances for healing and Salvation.
Love from a Christian friend in Jesus.

Good point, Kim, concerning my assumption that there was a lack of personal meaning behind the song for the performers. You make a good point. Thanks for your comment!

I agree with you that someone got it right on American Idol. However, you sound very cynical when you say,

"...the lack of personal meaning behind the song for the performers, for me, seems to taint the use of the song insomuch that it is not sung out of a motivation to give praise and glory to God as it is to bring attention, even glory, to the singers."

How do you know what is in the singer's hearts? My advice to you is not to give up hope that there are still some God loving people still left out there. It is obvious that God was at work in someone during the making of this American Idol episode. Perhaps it was just that, a God loving person.

I pray that you will have peace and joy today.

EJ,
LOL! Of COURSE it is still OK if you comment! =)

Why is it a difficult question to answer? Well, maybe because it's one of the greatest mysteries Christians have to reconcile when believing a compassionate God coexists with a suffering world.

I'm glad you checked back. The post is almost ready to go up, but with a crazy weekend ahead of me, there's a chance that if it's not up today it won't be until Monday. But it will go up.

Please check back! =)
